Basic Frame:
Manufactured
from high quality steel with relevant points welded in for holding the trailer
down whilst in operation, lifting hooks are also strategically positioned to
enable you to safely offload the winch from transportation.
Canopy:
A
canopy made from 3mm pressed steel is not only robust but also offers excellent
sound reducing properties and ensures all moving parts are enclosed and
concealed from the operator. The canopy
is easily removed by the use of one lifting point for servicing or repair.
Hinged access panels around the canopy allow for day-to-day servicing and
maintenance.
Drive Engine:
Twin
Cylinder Lombardini Diesel Engine, which is water-cooled and key start in
operation. The engine is rated at
17.75Kw at 3200rpm. The unit is also fitted with a mechanical fuel lift pump,
torque regulator and produces 57Nm of torque at 2100 and with a 14.5 Litre fuel
capacity tank, this unit is perfect for your requirements and that of the
TCW3000
Drive System:
Comprises
of two hydraulically independent driven twin grooved capstans providing safe passage for the rope onto the
hydraulically driven storage drum via the layering arm system, the hydraulics
on the capstans are powered by the world renown White Hydraulic Motor which not
only provide you with sufficient power but also a tremendous record of
reliability. Torque variation – no slippage across the range
Auto Layering:
The
rope is guided onto the storage drum via an automatic layering system; the
scrolled shaft is raised above the unit so as not to collect any dirt into the
grooves thus ensuring reliability of the shaft itself and the follower.
Electronic Display:
The
winch comes fitted with an electronic display showing the line pull and
meterage at any given time. The controller also allows for easy setting of the
maximum line pull.
Relief Setting:
The unit as standard is fitted with an electronically controlled system which allows you to set the maximum line pull that the cable is allowed to see. This protects the integrity of the cable being pulled, if the line pull reaches that tonnage then the hydraulics will back off the pressure to the motors and then slowly bring the pressure back in up to the preset load, this continues until the line pull has decreased below the preset level.
Line Pull Speed
No load/payout @ 50mtrs/min
3.0 Tonne @ 12mtrs/min
IMO – Datalog recorder
An electronic recorder with digital printout which combines a high level of technical specification with ease of operation. It is designed to stop winching operations if pre-selected pulling tension is achieved, thus preventing possible damage to the cable. The recorder is available on our TCW, FW & TW range of power cable pulling winches and provides a combination of pulling tension, meterage and time. There are also the option to download data via a Micro-SD Card, which then displays the data in a standard Microsoft Excel format.
Equipment:
Rope layering fully automatic
Operating hours´s meter
2x safety button (on the machine)
1x safety button on remote on 5mtr cable
