III. TRAILER FOR COLUMN TRANSPORT PILLAR II.
Trailer MORAM PILLAR II. is a single-purpose machine used to transport concrete columns for energy purposes for short distances, to deliver these columns from the unloading site to the installation place. The trailer is used with a tractor-mounted superstructure to lift these pillars. The tractor superstructure is not a part of this trailer.
In this case the tractor superstructure serves only to manipulate with the concrete column, i.e to lift and lower one end of the column which also allows loading of the concrete column onto the pillar trailer. The proposal is based on standards and safety requirements for handling concrete columns, as well as on the requirements and used systems of work organization in the construction of new or replacement damaged concrete columns of power lines.
Basic characteristics:
- Suitable for all common types of concrete columns
- Arms are formed in a V-profile, together with the clamping strips form the clamping mechanism of the trailer
- After placing the column between arms secure the column with the clamping straps, clamping arms are fitted with rubber plates at their ends
- The gripping head on the tractor holds second end of the column, simply connected through a standard towing eye (the head is fitted on the hitch and is movable vertically and horizontally)
- Retractable drawbar (position for column transport and for a tractor connection)
- The easiest and quickest safety way for a column loading and unloading
- It can be pre-set for wooden columns, can be connected also to off-road or trucks
